Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions. If you need more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
How do I know if I should see an audiologist or an ENT doctor?
If you are having difficulty hearing, start with a hearing evaluation. Please contact us to make an appointment. We'll let you know if there is any indication that medical follow-up is needed. However, if you are having any pain or discharge from your ears, please visit your doctor or an ENT specialist first.
How much do hearing aids cost?
We can help find a hearing solution to fit any budget. Hearing aids range in price depending on the level of technology inside the device(s) but, the biggest factor in determining the price is the service package you receive. Some people look for the cheapest hearing aids they can find but, as most people know - you get what you pay for. At Millbrook Audiology, you can rest assured that we will work with you to determine the most appropriate solution for your needs. We provide professional, personalized, and extremely thorough aural rehabilitation services. We do not "sell hearing aids", we work with you diligently to ensure you have the best hearing possible.
Will my insurance pay for hearing aids?
Unfortnuately, most insurance companies do not pay for hearing aids. However, we are happy to help you obtain reimbursement from your insurance comapny if they do offer a benefit.
We have several payment plans available for those who may need these options.
Several non-profit organizations offer funding for those who cannot afford hearing aids. We are happy to help our customers determine whether or not they qualify for assistance, which
program is most appropriate for them, and to help them apply for these programs.
